The University of Florida Pain Medicine and Pain Management Program (UF Pain and Spine Center) is a multidisciplinary group of physicians and care providers who approach the patient with acute, sub-acute and persistent (chronic) pain from a perspective that includes traditional biological pain treatments and psycho-social approaches to pain care.  Our faculty comes from training approaches including anesthesiology, physiatry (PMR), psychology, addiction medicine and neurology and are able to individualize the care the patients receive.

The Pain Medicine program is divided into two areas: inpatient and outpatient pain care.  Inpatient pain care is covered by two groups of physicians. Inpatient perioperative pain (Post-surgical, post-trauma and non-surgical acute pain) is taken care of by our Regional Anesthesiology and Perioperative Pain group.  Inpatient persistent/chronic pain in the non-surgical patient is taken care of by the psychiatry inpatient pain group.

Outpatient pain medicine is taken care of by the individuals listed below at the two sites of the UF Pain and Spine Center.
